Company Summary

The PTSC story began in 2014, due to the total dissatisfaction of employees who were voicing their concerns regarding poor representation by the larger established independent unions. We believed those concerns were justified due to a symbiotic relationship that has existed between the unions and employers since 1979. The foundations and ethos of how the established “independent” union addresses its members has changed to the employees’ detriment. We as a union will deliver the best representation possible with the highest standard of trained external district secretaries who follow ethical practices and have a great deal of employment law expertise.

 

Vision

To provide a high-quality service and positive solutions to our members based on their individual requirements, courtesy of our motivated district secretaries who are trained in Industrial relations and employment law. These solutions will exceed prospective and existing members’ expectations. We will strive to implement a long-term relationship with our members based on quality, determination, and results. PTSC will strive to have a voice and a seat at the table of influence to negotiate, protect and improve our members’ pay and conditions.

 

Values

The values of the PTSC Union are simple: we will never negotiate any terms and conditions that would be to your detriment. We will not fraternise, humiliate, or allow anyone to disrespect the union’s core values of unity, purpose, and accomplishments.

 

Objectives

PTSC Union’s overriding objective is to be a competitive player in the trade union market. We will expand that awareness nationally through the internet via various social platforms, so that it can reach a larger demographic / consumer population. In implementing and fulfilling our objectives, we expect to see a substantial growth in membership over the next two years. We aim to:

• Increase our membership base, broadening our exposure from local to national sectors.

• Position PTSC as the recognised union, negotiating employees’ wages / terms and condition in the workplace.
